Discovery Training Camp
North Texas Junior Leadership Training Academy
DTC is a camp for the Discovery Ranger who is at least 9 years old and completed 3rd grade. The purpose of DTC is to train and prepare Discovery Ranger boys for leadership roles in the local outpost. To learn the importance of the patrol system and how they, as leaders, can promote the outpost and an esprit de corps among boys. This camp gives special emphasis in the basic camping and camp craft skills.
June 8-10, 2012
The Trinity Valley Section is hosing a Discovery Training Camp that is open to any Discovery Ranger in North Texas. This camp will be held from June 8-10, 2012. The cost is $65 for chartered outposts, and $75 for non-chartered outposts. (check here to see if your church is chartered)
This is a district camp for Discovery Rangers, which is run at the section level. The focus will be on team building through the patrol methond.
